On a poignant D-Day 80th anniversary, our first workshop cohort of military family members and spouses came together to mark the launch of the KeepAbility Kingston initiative. This significant event, held last night, represents the beginning of a journey towards empowerment and resilience for those in the military and the families who support our servicemen and women.
The KeepAbility Kingston initiative aims to provide valuable resources, support, and training to military families, helping them navigate the unique challenges they face. Our workshop offered participants practical tools and strategies to enhance their well-being and resilience, fostering a strong and supportive community.
We are immensely proud of this milestone and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our community. The dedication and commitment of our participants underscore the importance of initiatives like KeepAbility Kingston in building a stronger, more resilient support network for military families.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this possible, including RB Kingston Council, Cameron King, Amanda McLoughlin, and Sean Gillen. Your support and efforts have been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.
